Sicily boasts a thousand years of tradition in lemon cultivation, handed down
from generation to generation: this is why the Siracusa Lemon PGI maintains a deepconnection with the environment, with the land, and with history.

The denomination of Protected Geographical Indication (PGI) “Siracusa Lemon” is reserved for fruit of the cultivar “Femminello” and its clones, grown in compliance with the Product Specification using specialized systems, in certain communes of Siracusa Province. The Siracusa “Femminello” is the most common variety of lemon in Italy and accounts for over 30% of annual national production.

The PGI brand protects the “Siracusa Lemon” from any attempts at imitation or counterfeiting, guaranteeing to the consumer the fruit’s origin and excellent organoleptic qualities.
